International Conference on Integrated Care Theme

In May 2025, four representatives for primary care in Hawke’s Bay travelled to Lisbon, Portugal for The International Conference on Integrated Care in Lisbon, Portugal. The theme for the year was “Synergising Health and Care: Leveraging Integrated Care for a Sustainable Future”

This global gathering brought together leaders, community advocates, researchers, clinicians, managers, community representatives, patients and caregivers to explore and advance integrated care knowledge systems, cultural resilience, and collaborative innovation.

Key takeaways

We invite you to explore our reflections, resources, and takeaways from the conference, and join us in the development of a more connected, equitable, and responsive integrated care system of care for the Hawke’s Bay region.  The Webinar below has been presented to the region and the next steps are now to establish a Hawke’s Bay Integrated Care Leadership Group.
