We are excited to announce our 2024 Innovation Fund for providers.  This is an opportunity to live our value of Auaha: Innovation (being inquisitive and seeking improvement)

As you may have seen in our 2023/4 Annual Report (link to annual report) Health Hawke’s Bay reported a result that was surplus to budget. This has been a result of a considered effort by the team to ensure we are working as efficiently as possible.

We would like to offer the opportunity for our providers to submit applications for an ‘Innovation Fund’.  This is additional to any existing funding that comes out to you as one of our partner providers.

The following things are important to keep in mind in regard to this funding opportunity:

• This funding is one off and there is no guarantee of ongoing or additional funding
• There are clear criteria for consideration when putting together your application
• We are looking for things to be able to innovate and grow your practice and model of care
• You should be willing to share your progress and mahi with the wider network.

Please send all applications to jude.mcrae@healthhb.co.nz by the end of November, we will have a panel to consider applications and make decisions.

After November, if funding is available, more applications will be allowed.
